The Ultimate Test Part 2 Chapter 6

Over the night, Kate went back to dreaming but since she was close to R.K's tent he actually merged with hers. Before long the two found themselves in some sort of office.

"Where are we?" R.K asked.

"Good question." Kate said.

But it didn't take them long to realize that they were standing in Goldman's office. It still looked like how it looked in the games. Empty with just a desk and a few potted plants.

*rattle rattle*

Just then the door was about to open and both panicked.

"Someone's coming." R.K shouted, "Kate, make us invisible."

Quickly Kate used her dream powers to make them both invisible and hid behind a potted plant, right about the time the door finally opened and Goldman (now just a entity of black smoke) emerged with another girl.

She looked like Karen only she wore black clothes with darker hair. Underneath her dark glasses she had one missing eye and a robotic eye which was long broken.

"How's the plan going along Daddy?" The girl asked.

"Oh it's going so well my little Colette." Goldman smiled, "The heroes are unaware that they're playing right in my hands. The Ultimate Test is a test to beat all the bad guys but it's also for the group to bring the Infinity Stones to me."

"Wow daddy that's so evil, I wish I thought of that."

"Right on my little girl. Once I have all the stones in place, I will use them to eradicate all traces of humanity, culture, religion, race. Everything until they're wiped out of existence because they're corrupt and they took the life of my sister."

"Aunt Brenda?"

"Yes."

*ring ring* ring ring*

"Hold on." Goldman said as he grabbed a telephone from his desk, "Hello?"

"Goldman! Buddy," Nightwing's voice called from the phone, "How are you man?"

"Hello Nightwing." Goldman said, "How's Andy doing?"

"Oh sharp as a tack." Nightwing said, "But still stupid as ever. He doesn't know what the true plan is."

"Yes, he's a great example of how corrupt and how evil human beings are. They create their own monsters. And the way he abused Kate, Kate on the other hand's no better, she's like a dark cloud. I bet if she was next to a happy sun, she would completely blot it out and sadness will reign."

"Oh yes. Say where is she right now?"

"I think she'd better find a better place to hide other than behind my potted plant. Yes I see you in your dream form Kate and you brought your friend Kevin."

Goldman snapped his fingers and Kate and R.K were visible.

"Ah Kate I'm glad you came first hand."

"If I was awake now I'd slice your head off." Kate replied.

"Oh come now Miss. Staples, you only saved three of the 6 infinity stones. Three are still out there and then you'll give them to me."

"Fat chance." R.K said.

"Oh really?" Goldman said as his smile widened, "You already lost your brother Kate and you also costed me one of my pupil with your skirmish against my cousin. There are more losses waiting to come. You think you can save all your friends? Do you think you can save Vector and Vanilla. Soon you'll be rubbing their tombstones and screaming, 'WHY!?!?!'"

"You're evil!" Kate shouted, "I'll save them and you won't stop us."

"We shall see. Nightwing, continue with the invasion on Dreamland, I'll distract these two idiots for a while."

R.K responded by slashing Goldman but he was just a cloud so he couldn't get hurt.

"Ah ah ah no slashing yet little man." Goldman said, "This is only part two of my Ultimate Test. The true test is still coming."

"Shall I terminate them daddy?" Colette asked.

"Yes, have them wake up. It's time."

Colette pulled out a taser and stunned them before shooting R.K and Katelyn with a uzi. It was the last thing they remembered before they both waked up.

Quickly they jumped out of the tents and met in the darkness where they discussed their dreams.

"Katelyn." R.K sighed, "I think Nightwing is working for Goldman and I feel like he's going to backstab Dark King."

"Does that me we have to join forces with him?" Katelyn shivered.

"To be honest I don't know. But for now, let's get some sleep. We'll invade Dreamland first thing in the morning."
